We had a fantastic time staying here with our group of friends. the location was perfect for our walking holiday, with beautiful trails nearby. the house was very spacious and clean, and the beds were comfortable. We loved the option of having a fire in the evenings, which created a cozy atmosphere. the staff were friendly and accommodating, and the on-site bar and restaurant provided delicious food and a great atmosphere. We especially enjoyed the horse riding activities offered at the resort.
The WiFi and phone signal in the house was not very reliable.

Oh, and let's not forget the adventures I had trying to get hot water in the upstairs shower. Pure entertainment, indeed.

I absolutely loved the cozy and charming decoration throughout the hotel. The elegant furniture and beautiful artwork added a touch of sophistication to the general areas. As a senior woman, I appreciated how accessible the hotel was for people of my age. The hallways were wide and well-lit, making it easy to navigate with my walking cane. Additionally, the staff members were always ready to assist me whenever I needed help, whether it was carrying my luggage or providing guidance to various facilities. It made my stay comfortable and enjoyable.
I would have loved to see more activities specifically tailored for senior people. While the staff members were friendly and helpful, it would have been nice to have a dedicated program or amenities that catered to the needs and interests of older guests.

The room at 14 Drumcoura Lake Resort was cozy and inviting, with a warm and homely feel. The two bathrooms were a big plus, especially with the modern showers. As a long-term business traveler, having two bathrooms made getting ready in the morning a breeze!
The only thing I didn't love was the view from the room, but hey, that's just my opinion. Beauty is in the eye of the beholder and others might still enjoy it.

We had an amazing stay at a cozy cabin near a beautiful lake. the owner, Ray, was incredibly helpful and made sure we had everything we needed. the cabin was spacious, clean, and had all the amenities we could ask for, including a comfortable bed and a Smart TV with Netflix for the kids. the Saloon Bar/restaurant, just a short walk away, served delicious food and drinks. It was the perfect place for a relaxing getaway with all the comforts of home. Cons: There was nothing we didn't like. 🌟.

The hotel's decoration was absolutely charming, with beautiful floral prints and cozy armchairs in the common areas. It felt like stepping into a quaint country cottage. The hotel was easily accessible for senior people, with ramps and handrails in all the right places, making it easy to navigate around.
My only suggestion for a better vacation for senior people would be to have clearer signage throughout the hotel. Sometimes it was hard to find my way around, and the children working there seemed quite busy with other guests, making it a bit difficult to ask for directions.
